Walco Industries Ltd is a leader in the field of industrial cleaning and hazardous waste transportation with 3 offices in Port Alberni, Campbell River and Mission B.C. there are also 2 secondary locations in Powell River and Crofton. With a fleet of over 40 units, which include wet and dry vacuum trucks, hydro-vacs, high-pressure pumps and chemical units creating diverse work situations for interested potential employees.

Labourer - Casual (All Locations)

To perform various tasks Walco Industries provides, such as vacuum services, hydro-vac services, high-pressure washing services and many more. The worker needs to be able to execute their work safely, be physically fit, able to participate in safety discussions and work well as a team. We are a growing business and are looking for individuals to help us continue our path. First aid and WHIMIS are required.

Operator / Labourer - Casual (All Locations)

Looking for an operator / labourer for Walco industries. The candidate we are looking for must become familiar with the OH&S program, will execute all work safely and must be able to plan travel schedules and routes to designated work locations. The worker will need to be able to oversee inspections of tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment relative to the truck and cleanliness of the vehicle (mechanically inclined is an asset). Having a TDG certificate is an asset, as the work will contain loading and unloading slurries, sludges and chemicals. This work is physical work, which requires the operator to be fit for duty. All labourer requirements above will be an asset.
